Tom is a qualified builder and a managing director of the business. Tom originally qualified as a carpenter but having grown up and learned his trade in the UK he also has had a great deal of experience with construction using concrete footings and slabs, block and brick construction, cut timber roofs and heavy roof construction. Tom manages the day to day running of the business but still manages to get on the tools around 30 hours a week. When not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and young children and getting away for the odd hunting trip.
Ben is a qualified builder and Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) and is the other managing director of the business. Ben originally qualified as a joiner, having completed his apprenticeship in Dad’s joinery shop in the UK. Ben cut his teeth in large scale construction in France nearly 20 years ago when he bought a derelict 3-storey hotel and restored it to a thriving business that still operates today. Although Ben has a lot of experience now in the construction sector he still loves delivering a high end bathroom or kitchen. Ben is on the tools full time and runs the site operations. Ben is also a keen hunter and fisherman and is kept busy at home with his young family.
We bring a huge amount of experience through our Builder's/Foremen (Marcus M, Olly, Regan, Fergus, Marcus K, Harley, James and Tobias) and very experienced hammer hand (Rhys). Committed to continually developing the skill set of the team and the industry we proudly also include third year apprentice (Tai); second year apprentices (Dylan); and first year apprentice (Will) in our team. Each member of the hand-picked team have different skill sets that we believe complement one another. The team have plenty of work and life experience and bring complementary skills including cabinet making; bench joinery; welding and metal work; architectural and commercial concrete work; machine and tool maintenance; wood turning; and building experience overseas.
